From Engineer's AI Assistant to Everyone's Productivity Tool
The Beginningβ
As a software engineer, I realized early on that AI technology would change the way we work. In early 2023, when ChatGPT sparked an AI craze, I started trying out various AI tools to boost my productivity.
However, the inconveniences during the usage process bothered me: switching between multiple platforms was time-consuming and cumbersome, each tool had its limitations, and the subscription fees added up to a significant amount. As an engineer, I started thinking: why can't there be a simpler, more flexible solution?
So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and develop an AI assistant that truly meets my needs. My goal was simple: quick activation via hotkeys, support for custom commands, and local data storage for security. This tool was initially created to solve my own pain points.
But when my engineer friends saw this tool, they also wanted to use it. "This is exactly what we need!" they said. Through word of mouth, more and more people started using this tool. To my surprise, not only tech professionals but also students, writers, designers, and people from various industries were using it to improve their work efficiency.
Currently, this free AI assistant has served nearly 600 users. Seeing it help so many people improve their work efficiency is deeply gratifying. It also proves that sometimes solving your own problems can also help more people with similar needs.

When I first created the product, I only considered my own usage habits. But as more and more friends started using this tool, I realized an important fact: everyone has their unique way of working. Some users prefer keyboard shortcuts, while others prefer mouse operations; some people need detailed user guides, while others tend to explore on their own.
This made me realize that creating a truly useful tool cannot rely solely on an engineer's intuition. I started listening more to the users' voices and observing their usage habits. Each update was based on the accumulation and improvement of user feedback. From the initial simple interface to the later added customization options, each improvement step made the tool more in line with user needs.
Seeing friends go from "not quite used to it" at first to "can't live without it" now, this transformation is deeply encouraging. Especially when I receive user-shared experiences, that sense of accomplishment is indescribable.
But I know this is just the beginning. AI technology is evolving rapidly, and user needs are constantly changing. I hope this tool can continue to grow, and the best way to grow is to move forward together with the users.
